The
Victorian Villa is located within the charming village of
Hampton Hill which dates back to the early 1800s. Bushy
Park, one of the Royal Parks within the area, is five
minutes walk away and home to herds of free roaming deer.

Victorian Villa is also not far from the historical Hampton Court Palace,
Richmond, Twickenham, The Museum of Rugby and
Twickenham Rugby Stadium, Teddington, Ham, Petersham, The
Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, The National Archives also
at Kew, Ham House, Syon House, and the River
Thames where many attractions exist attracting lots of
visitors every year. The Victorian Villa is the ideal venue
to stay in to enrich the experience when visiting any of these
historical places.
Hampton Hill
boasts a wonderful village High Street with many restaurants
within two minutes walk of the Victorian Villa plus
it's own Playhouse Theatre and library. There is also an
abundance of many
quaint and elegant antique, designer and art and craft shops a short distance from
the Villa in Twickenham, Hampton Court, East Molsey, Hampton
Wick and Teddington. Fulwell golf course is five minutes
walk away and Hampton heated open air pool is just ten
minutes walk away.
TWICKENHAM

BUSHY PARK
Bushy Park
belongs to the Queen and extends over about 450 hectares and
is home to freely roaming deer. One beautiful feature is
Chestnut Avenue, a grand avenue of horse-chestnut trees
close to the road and lime trees further out. This dates
from the 1690s, and was part of Christopher Wren's plan for
an aggrandizement of Hampton Court Palace. The avenue is a
well used component of the suburban road system, but somehow
this doesn't spoil the park when cars are creeping along,
their drivers wary of both deer and radar.
Hard to imagine
a half-century later, but SHAEF was based in Bushy Park from
1944, and Eisenhower planned Operation Overlord from here.

HAMPTON COURT PALACE
One of the most
famous local attractions is Hampton Court Palace with its 500 years of royal history. Set in sixty acres of world famous gardens the Palace is a living tapestry of history from Henry VIII to George II. From the elegance of the recently restored eighteenth century Privy Garden to the domestic reality of the Tudor Kitchens visitors are taken back through the centuries to experience the Palace as it was when royalty was in residence.
Costumed guides and audio tours provide inside information on the life in the royal households and free family trails encourage a closer look at the Palace, with the chance of a prize at the end. In the summer months horse-drawn carriages offer a sedate trip around the stunning gardens.
Every year the
Hampton Court Flower Show attracts people from all over the
world. See link:

There is also the
Hampton Court Ice Rink open from 28 Nov 2009 - 10 Jan 2010 See:

Plus many large
musical events are staged through out the year see:
